Thermoplastic Pavement Markings in Georgia
Durable, reflective thermoplastic striping and markings for roadways, crosswalks and high-traffic areas.
Overview
Thermoplastic is the long-life choice for pavement markings that take a beating. We apply preformed or extruded thermoplastic for crosswalks, stop bars, lane lines, legends and symbols on roadways and high-traffic lots. The material bonds to asphalt and concrete, embeds reflective glass beads, and outlasts paint many times over.
Key benefits
- Long-life markings that outlast traffic paint
- High-visibility reflective glass beads embedded in the material
- Bonds strongly to asphalt and concrete surfaces
- MUTCD-compliant crosswalks, stop bars, legends and symbols
- Fast-cure application minimizes traffic downtime
- Ideal for roadways, intersections and heavy truck traffic

Request a QuoteWhere is thermoplastic striping better than paint?
Thermoplastic striping is the best choice for roadways, intersections, crosswalks and any area with heavy traffic or snowplows. It lasts years instead of months and holds reflective beads far longer than paint.
Can thermoplastic be applied over old paint?
It can be applied over sound existing markings after the surface is cleaned and prepped. For best adhesion we often remove failed paint or scarify the surface first.
How long before traffic can use new thermoplastic markings?
Thermoplastic cools and hardens within minutes. The marked area is usually open to traffic almost immediately after application.
Do you offer preformed thermoplastic symbols and legends?
Yes. We install preformed letters, numbers, arrows, school symbols, bike lane markings and custom legends to spec.
What colors and reflective options are available?
Standard colors include white, yellow, red, blue and black. We embed glass beads during application for retroreflectivity that meets MUTCD and local standards.
