Specialty Service Line

ARIMA CivicMark™

Beautification + Safety + Wayfinding + Community Pride

Decorative Pavement • Safety • Wayfinding • Community Identity

Transform ordinary pavement into a safer, more recognizable destination.

Custom decorative thermoplastic pavement markings designed to help communities, schools, businesses and public spaces create safer, more welcoming and memorable environments.

Why CivicMark

Placemaking that performs like infrastructure.

Built on proven thermoplastic

CivicMark uses the same durable preformed thermoplastic ARIMA installs on Georgia roadways — reflective, skid-resistant and bonded to the pavement, not painted on top of it.

Safety you can see

High-contrast decorative crossings and corridors raise driver awareness at the exact points where pedestrians and cyclists are most exposed.

Placemaking with a maintenance plan

Unlike murals and street paint, CivicMark holds color and retroreflectivity for years, so beautification does not become a recurring repaint expense.

One contractor, start to finish

Design coordination, surface preparation, traffic control and installation are all self-performed by ARIMA crews.

CivicMark FAQ

Questions before you bring it to your board.

What is ARIMA CivicMark?+

CivicMark is ARIMA's decorative pavement marking service line. It uses preformed thermoplastic to install crosswalk patterns, city seals, school branding, wayfinding graphics and public-space designs that are both decorative and functionally safer than plain pavement.

How is CivicMark different from regular thermoplastic markings?+

Standard thermoplastic markings are regulatory and traffic-control markings such as lane lines, stop bars and legends. CivicMark applies the same material to decorative design, community identity and wayfinding, in addition to safety.

How long do decorative thermoplastic markings last?+

Properly installed preformed thermoplastic typically performs for years rather than months, holding color and reflectivity far longer than paint or street murals.

Can you install our city seal, school mascot or logo?+

Yes. Send us artwork or a logo file and we translate it into a scaled pavement layout in the correct colors, then fabricate and install the preformed panels.

Is decorative pavement safe and compliant?+

We design around MUTCD requirements so decorative treatments complement, rather than conflict with, regulatory markings. The material is skid-resistant and can include retroreflective elements.

What does a CivicMark project cost?+

Cost depends on square footage, color count and design complexity. Site evaluations and CivicMark consultations are free, and we provide line-item pricing you can submit for approval.
